Section Introduction 3M™ Jet-Melt™ adhesives are solvent free thermoplastic resins that become liquid when heated. They are applied in their molten state and upon cooling immediately form a strong bond to most surfaces, including wood, plastic, foam, fabric and cardboard. A range of 'Low-Melt' adhesives have been developed to bond low heat resistant materials such as expanded polystyrene. Applicators are available from touch control guns for intricate work, up to air powered applicators where long beads or large volumes of adhesives need to be dispensed. Widely used in woodworking and furniture, plastics bonding, packaging, assembly and electronics applications.

3M Jet Melt Quadrack Applicator Gun Ref: 309 An ergonomically designed Applicator gun available in either a high (dispensing adhesives at 210 deg C) or a low melt (130 Deg. C) format. Both guns use a palm trigger to reduce operator fatigue.
