Introduction
A range of over thirty products designed specifically to replace traditional mechanical fixing methods such as welding and riveting. Widely used in the automotive, construction, signage and electronics industries.
The family of products (with the exception of the thin very high bond tapes which are pure adhesive) consist of viscoelastic pure acrylic foam coated on both sides with a variety of different adhesive options, ranging from modified and multi-purpose acrylics to synthetic adhesives for bonding low surface energy substrates such as polypropylene.
VHB™'s may be used for bonding dissimilar materials together for example metal to glass, or plastic to metal, as well as joining substrates with traditionally difficult to bond to surfaces such as powder coating.
All of the VHB™ range may be die cut into shapes or pads or if supplied in roll form, simply cut to a specific width to precisely suit a given application.
