Standard Kapton Tape 71SL Ref: 65 A class H (180 deg. C) adhesive tape. The backing is a Polyimide Kapton 25 micron thick film. The adhesive is a cross linked silicone polymer resistant to high temperature and most solvents. The product has outstanding ageing properties. Used as an insulation tape for extreme temperature resistance. It is applied in high performance devices as in manufacturing traction motors, turbo generators, aerospace applications which require the highest temperature reserves from the insulation. Short term heat resistance up to 400 deg.C We can die cut this product into shapes and discs with oversize bottom liners for ease of removal, please call us for more information.
