Masking and Paper Tapes Products range between standard paper grades used for painting and automotive refinishing through to high temperature filmic and polyester products used for powder coating applications. Fine line and low tack masking grades are also within the range. All products may be die cut into circles or shapes and supplied on a roll to be used in specific masking applications. Premium Grade High Temperature Masking Paper (up to 150 Deg. Polyester Masking Tape ( up to 210 Deg. C) Ref: 56 A blue polyester tape with silicone adhesive, designed for clean removal in high temperature and pressure applications. Removes cleanly from anodised aluminium, stainless steel and glass after a five hour bake cycle at 177 Deg. C. May also be used for masking edges of overlap seams in metal bonding process where excess epoxy (flash) flows on to tape. Clean up is complete upon tape removal, also used for holding parts or vacumn bags during bonding processes and for masking of parts during powder coating up to 210 Deg C . Low Tack Masking Ref: 52 A paper masking tape for applications on sensitive materials ie anodised metals such as aluminium and titanium, treated wood, coatings or other sensitive materials.
