Genfab specialise in providing customised product solutions to suit our individual customer requirements. Our in-house slitting and conversion facilities enable tapes and fastening products to be cut to specific widths or die cut to particular shapes.

Our Capabilities:
Lathe Slitting
Master log rolls up to 1500mm may be slit to specific widths from a minimum of 1.00mm. We can achieve a tolerance of +/- 0.2mm. Our machines are able to cut both light-weight adhesive foam materials and hard wound protection tape up to 500m in length. All product undergoes a final inspection and is re-packed using wax paper interleaves and an outer plastic protection sleeve. We have no minimum order roll quantities
Rewind Slitting
Our rewind slitting machines enable products to be cut which are difficult to lathe slit, such as cloth tapes and fibrous materials. We are able to achieve minimum cut widths of 12mm.
Guillotining
Our automated guillotine machines enable single or double sided tapes to be laminated onto secondary oversize liners(for ease of release). We are able to produce pads of material from 2mm to 3m in length. We can also laminate different materials together during this process. A tolerance on cut product lengths of +/- 0.25mm can be achieved.
Die Cut Facilities
Our die cutting equipment provides the means of cutting materials to precise shapes and sizes. Whether these are simple discs of material to mask substrates during a powder coating process or complex profiles to create adhesives for automotive badging applications, our equipment can produce parts as individuals or in roll format for ease of removal. Tolerances of +/-0.15mm may be achieved .
Gaskets or shapes of up to 600mm x 900mm may be produced.
Oversized top and bottom liner formatting
One of the most important considerations in formating converted Double Sided Tapes is the ease of the top liner removal. We have developed specialist techniques and equipment to provide oversized or tabbed top liner finished product options.
Laminating
Our laminating equipment has been specifically designed to enable us to produce a range of laminated adhesive product options. From applying narrow widths of single and double sided tapes (from 2mm) to a variety of substrates such as aluminium film, to wide width laminations over a metre wide.
Customer Bespoke Packaging
We offer a packing service which can be specific to an individual customer's requirements - for example customer own labelling or decanting adhesives to a unique size.
