When two parts of 3M™ Dual Lock™ are pressed together, hundreds of mushroom shaped stems interlock with each other. This results in a mated product with excellent holding strength ( up to 12 times stronger than hook and loop systems )

The durability of the system means that it allows for up to 1000 openings and closures .

The product is available as plain or adhesive backed, with different adhesive systems available dependent on application.

Widely used in transportation, marine and construction industries, replacing screws for assembling wall and ceiling panels; allowing for faster removal and easier maintenance.

Provides and innovative alternative to screws, bolts and snaps.

A reclosable adhesive backed fastening system, where mushroom shaped stems interlock with one another when pressed together.

The stem density determines the strength of the removeable bond. As an example we have included for on-line sale a product with a 400 stem density per 25mm2. This product is coated with a VERY HIGH BOND acrylic adhesive system resisting harsh wet and dry environments and hot and cold cycle temperature ranges.
Suitable for high performance applications within the aircraft, automotive, business equipment and electronics industries.

A clear adhesive backed fastening system with a 250 stem density per 25mm2. This product is coated with a VERY HIGH BOND acrylic adhesive offering UV and plasticiser resistance for high performance applications.
